About Me

I’ve lived in New York since 2004, and in that time I’ve worked for PC Magazine, Newsweek, and JWT, founded the AppScout.com blog, created the Qualcomm Spark online magazine, and founded and hosted the PCMag After Hours Podcast. I also write for various music, culture, and religion magazines and blogs whenever I find the time. I’ve had work published in ReadyMade magazine, Ad Age, Mashable, PrettyMuchAmazing, By Common Consent (where I’m an editor), and elsewhere.

I recently left JWT to start Knock Twice, a tech PR, marketing, and advertising agency. My two partners are Mike Barash and Jeff Lind–I’ve been friends with them for a long time and can’t imagine two better people to work with. Our clients range from tiny, pre-funded startups to some of the biggest companies in the world. We’re having a lot of fun!

When I’m not creating stuff for work, I’m either hitting the playgrounds of NYC with my two kids, or hitting the dive bars with my two bands (I play bass with Shakedown at the Majestic, and mandolin with The Sabre Rattlers).

This blog is just a random dumping ground of ideas, pictures, and links that interest me. I obviously spend very little time on it. You can find me on any social network, where I’m much more active.
